Turned up at the club expecting a steady 9-min mile run, only to be given an effort session. An "8 mile" run incorporating 5 x 5 mins with 2.5 mins recovery. It was actually only
6.6 miles, and we (Granville and I at the back) didn't quite make it to 5 mins on every effort, but it was enough for me - legs still feeling Sunday's bike ride.
