Out to Shipdham again, picking up Rosie en route at Hethersett, but back via Old Buck this time. Trish, Rob and John joined us from Shipdham to Ellingham, with Rob continuing with us to Wymondham (where he got a puncture). Total 52 miles, average 15mph but probably seriously affected by the wind for the first half (well, and for the second half but more positively!).
At times we were cruising along very happily at 19mph, other times we were crawling into a headwind. Last week's return route was our outward route this week and took 1:27 (1:12 last week). However, I honestly enjoyed every bit and didn't really struggle at all. When we were going, we were really going and it was brilliant.
